I am so sorry it took me so long to get around to this. I've got a laundry list of excuses, but who cares? After three years (and with Dick's blessing along with a desire to share his music with a new generation of country music fans), 'Thank You Very Much' (his 1986 album) is available for the first time ever online as well as on iTunes! And not only is the entire album available for your listening pleasure, it's FREE!
You can either click on the direct link at the top of this page, click on this link: http://www.dicklobdell.mevio.com/ or you can search 'Dick Lobdell' on iTunes for the direct download. After talking to Dick last week (who was recovering from surgery), he informed me that he has an archive of rare and live footage that we'll be posting on his official audio site later this year. As soon as it's up, we'll let you know. Here's the synopsis for Dick's audio site:
From the late '60s throughout the '70s, '80s, '90s and today, country singer Dick Lobdell brought country and bluegrass to Buffalo, NY, playing at bars, juke joints, honky tonks, dance halls and concerts. He continues to perform across the country to this day. This web site is devoted to sharing that love of Country and Western music with a wider audience along with Dick's one-of-a-kind voice, journeyman guitar playing and incomparable passion.
We hope you enjoy his album and look forward to sharing more with you in the future!
